Great Boughton and Huntington NCT

We are a group of parents who originally started to meet as a post-natal group of the NCT. Now most of us have school age children as well as toddlers and babies so the range of our activities has expanded. We welcome new mums who are referred through NCT as well as mothers with older children who move into the area or who want to meet other parents in a similar situation. Here are some of the activities we run at the moment:

• Coffee mornings - every other Friday 10am to 11.30am. These are for mothers with pre-school children but there are also a 'hard-core' of mums whose children are at school who just turn up for a chat.
• Activity Afternoons - One Friday a month 2pm - 3.30pm. For play group/nursery age children to play without being overwhelmed by older brothers and sisters.
• Play Afternoons - one Friday a month 3.30pm onwards. After school activities, occasionally at someone's house, but as numbers have got rather large these tend to be at play areas or other outdoor activities,e.g. Egg rolling at Flint Castle.
• Social Events - anything from a ladies only drinks evening to family barbeque.
